My obsession with shoes goes back to the 70's. Ever since I got my first pair of blue suede Nikes, I was hooked. I am convinced that everything you wear works around your shoes. In the morning, I choose a pair of sneakers, oxfords or boots and then I select a shirt, jacket, jeans and anything else that makes it look right. A nice pair of shoes can make (almost) any outfit look presentable. I was born and raised in the SF Bay Area, and the first version of this map was confined (for the most part) to California, but this map was recently expanded to include stores from all over the US. My tastes lean towards Nike, Adidas and New Balance but I try to include shops that carry brands of all sorts. If you don't see a description for a store, it just means I haven't visited it yet, or I do not have trusted knowledge of the shop. If you have ideas, feedback, criticism or a store that you think should be added, let me know. In the meantime, whatever it is you're looking for, I hope you find it.
